Dear Serene,

Romance is such a funny thing.
It's the engine in the vehicle of love.
It's this moving thing that you can't touch,
but just like love, you can feel it.
It needs maintenace and repairs,
but it'll get you going to where you need to go every single time.

There's this saying -- back to this auto metaphor -- and it goes like this,
"When you buy a car, you're really buying the engine."
The engine's really important to me.
There is no love without romance the way there is no light without darkness.
It's the cornerstone that keeps blood pumping
and it's where passion is born from.

You see, buffy, I don't believe you've ever really been swept off your feet.
Maybe you think you have, and if that's the case,
then the only thing I'm sure of is this:
you've never been swept off your feet by a guy like me.

(They called me the Sweeper,
Tristate County Champion 6 years running.)
Everything moving forward will be building blocks to romance,
and this gesture is the first stone set, to hopefully
show you the magic of me :-)
And this, of course, is my dedication to you:
Obviously, I think you're the most amazing woman I've ever met
and even though you're 2030 miles away (accurate number),
you mean the absolute world to me.

You and I both know a tough, tiring road lies ahead of us,
and there will be bumps -- there will be bumps --

but know this, this little dinky website
is for you to always remeber
that some fella in NYC is crazy about you.
And yes, this fella hasn't been perfect,
he really wants and hopes he can be perfect for you.
All he wants is for you to find a way to let yourself go,
and only then will you find romance shining right on through,
unraveling the mystery and strenghten the muscle of love.

Happy Monday :-)
